Here are a few facts that you might find of interest:

 

· We have 9 dispatch positions. These positions handle radio traffic from Police, Fire and Medical personnel.

· Each position is capable of answering your phone call (both Emergency and Non-Emergency). We have dedicated positions for Dispatching Police/Fire.

· We have Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) which helps us do our job more efficiently and provides detailed information for both Dispatcher and Law Enforcement Patrols throughout our County.

· We currently dispatch for 17 Police and 21 Fire Departments

· We answer more than 400,000 calls for service per year!
